I was thinking that the best way to do it would be to use the 1612 to make the setup easier to use in the long term.

I would like to have the system working in a manner that is easy to use. I was hoping that the 1612 or another unit would allow me to do so. Playing through the entire house is my goal. I will try searching for something with a Mini Jack to connect my Mac Mini to see if I can get an acceptable solution. I know the Din RCA Jack idea I had was a bit of a bust.

Ok that sounds possible. Where would I source the cable to go from the Mac Mini to the 1612?? I have the Master Link available.
Previously I used a Din cable with a pair of RCA’s to get sound to the Overatures AUX port That may have been the reason for the issues I faced In hindsight I see how the DIN connector configuration may be an issue in my previous attempt.

I tried to use the AUX connector but the volume was very low. I was hoping using the 1612 would remedy this issue. Do I need any specific cabling??? If so where would I acquire it??

            thanks.
