No need for unwrapping this time ?
MM
Not what I have noticed.
Is it on all stations or only on
some?
Are you sure you use B&O Radio and not (still) TuneIn?
MM
Listening to the 1993’ album Crescent Moon from the Cowboy Junkies.

Thanks Keith
That’s the real Beotalk 😉

@BeoVision
If you have a spare PUC/IR Blaster, my advice would be to use that with the ATV, once it is there……..assuming that the spare HDMI cable is connected to the Theatre, of course. If that however, is connected to the tv, you only have CEC controlling as an option (which may work fine).
MM
Pardon me, but what is: ‘a puc cable was run to my comms cab’ – what is a comms cab?
If the PUC cable was run to another device than the ATV (and just to that), this has no influenze on (PUC) controlling the ATV.Probably – when the Theatre was installed – the installer meant to rely on CEC controlling of the ATV by just connecting it to the Theatre or to the LG-tv by a HDMI cable.
This mostly works fine.
A lot do it that way – personally I prefer the PUC method.
In both cases it is controlled with the Beoremote.————
As for optimal settings on the ATV 4K please have a look
Here are some tips about the settings of the LG tv.
Please notice that there are different views on how to best make these settings.
A Google search can help.
The most important setting IMO is the enable ‘Filmmaker Mode’!MM
Relax…..as long as you label your cables properly, it is doable.

Some versions have – my C2, which I bought in Germany, has a twin tuner ?
MM
2 December 2023 at 12:36 in reply to: Beolink Multiroom and Unify network, music not synchronized #50902Maybe this can help a bit.
By the way nowadays Sonos only work as a Mesh network, if one of the devices is hardwired.
Otherweise it works over the regular wifi network (which of course can be a Mesh network).MM
Does your tv have a dual tuner?
MM
I have therefore trouble having a real integrated system in my living room……’.
So it seems that those two devices are integrated – anyway there are no more integration steps, that you can do.What would you expect from a ‘real integrated system’?
MM
Are you able to hide yours away?
Yes, but that is because my tv is placed on a lowboard.
Actually it is the same, that I had with my (wallmounted) Avant previously – and the BV8-40 before that.I need the space there – not just for the ATV – but also for a Bluray player, a network switch, a Chromecast Ultra dongle, the power sockets and ‘cables that are always too long’.
No need for wall mounting here and no need for turning the tv.If you have the Theatre on a tablestand/floorstand, the ATV should be able to fit into the SMI, you’ll need for mounting the tv to the Theatre.
MM
There is no way you can hide an ATV behind a wallmounted LG….unless you’d make a hole/a cave for it in the wall.
It makes much more sense to connect it directly to the Theatre (and use the PUC).
I can assure you, that you can control the ATV just like before – I do that every day.MM
You could ‘deintegrate’ both.
Then the Core will be visible as a product in the app.
It seems that your queues are active on the Core (?)After starting plyback, the Core will be silent, because there are no speakers connected.
However, you can ‘Join in’ from anywhere. On the Beoremote/Beo4 there even is a button for ‘Join’.
Or you can ‘expand to’ from the app.And you can – in the settings of the Avant – set up a specific Speaker Group’ for whenever you ‘Join’.
This is exactlh how my ‘not integrated, but connected’ Essence/V1 behaves.
Give it a try to see if that works vetter for you.
MM
I was in the same situation a year ago….only that my Avant was 55”.
40% of seems a very good deal.
But we need to know, if that is on the whole unit (including stand etc).
In that case I’d even say, that it is an excellent deal.
(You should go for the LG/G3 model, if possible!)
But you will have to talk costs for the installation too…..unless you are able to do it yourself.Personally I did not look back – even if there have been some (SW) quirks along the way. The Theatre is pretty stable now imo.
The Theatre has so many options – you will probably hear a difference in the overall sound from your system right after setting it up…..to the better. It needs a bit of rethinking – the integration with excisting Masterlink/NL-converter products is not great…..if you have any.
And the new app is still a mystery……if you have other newer NL-based products.I would not hesitate – I am sure you will like the Theatre.

Hi Greg and welcome here.
If you want to change the settings to ‘Integrated’, I can provide a screenshot, that shows how my Essence works with my V1 tv.
This can show you, what to do with your setup. For that you must dig deep into the konfiguration page of the Core and find the section ‘Beolink’…..’Connect with other product’
Please notice that my Essence is not integrated, but you see the box – that would have to be ticked for this – marked with red.I guess it should be understandable even if in danish.
Don’t worry, you can always revert the setting, if it does not behave as you’d need it.
You will then see the sources of the Core in the Source Menu of the tv!As for the ‘queue issue’ I can’t say much – I do not do playlists.
Is that a newer problem/is it a queue from Deezer/are you using the newer B&O app version?
It might have something to do with this (in many cases the app is behaving odd!)
Maybe someone else knows about this.MM
Over and out for the previous/5.3 beta version.
From now on forced to use an unfinished and unlogical appM?M
deleted.
Thanks @Sandyb

This is not about ‘more’ or ‘enough bas’.
It is much more about avoiding room modes (from the bas content of the signal).
Every room is different.Generally I’d suggest – if someone has a subwoofer/or two in the mix – to place this/these at the back of the room….and not at the front with the Theatre.
This is about ‘better bas’.
