I would like to ask one more thing about the functioning of the Masterlink system:
if I load the cd pressing the buttons (touch) on the BC9300, and then I press PLAY, the CD start spinning but the BS3 doesn’t switch on and the music doesn’t fill the room :), and this is normal, so should I use the CD only by Beo4?
I have the Mastrlink Handbook, which has a lot of information about configurations and setup, but there is not much like this about using the system, other than through the beo4
I finally managed to solve the problem and get the BC9300 derived from the BS3 to work.
The problem was the AV/Aux cable, I bought another 7 pin cable and now it works. I checked that the new cable has all pins wired, so just 4 (1,2,4, 6) is not enough.
I thank Madskp and Guy who gave me advice and guidance.
I would like to ask one last thing about the functioning of the Masterlink system:
if I press CD on the remote control with the devices off, BS# and BC9300 turn on in sequence and the CD starts and everything works, and when I press standby everything turns off, then if via remote control I switch from CD to TV (function of BS3 only) it activates TV and CD stops, but BC9300 stays on. Then if I press standby on the remote control the BS3 turns off but not the BC9300 which remains on the CD function.
It’s normal? Where can I find Masterlink instructions? Thanks again to everyone.
MicheleI did other tests, with a Beosound 3000 connected with masterlink everything works, so the problem is in the BC9300, in the cable or in the converter.
I have another similar converter, a 1614, and I tried it, but the result is the same, the cable is well made according to Guy’s instructions, at this point I have to think about the 9300.
I have one of the first 9300s, with the curved CD lens path, and I think it’s one of the first, is it possible that it has the Av/aux output which is not compatible with the 1611?I noticed that the 9300 starts in muted mode, and when I turn it off I hear a noise in the speakers, and this happens even if I try to adjust the volume (thinking it could depend on the volume output from the 9300 I also connected the powerlink cable)
Thanks Madskp and Guy for your answers,
I will do more tests by connecting the devices to the power one at a time, with 1611 last.
@Guy, to check the cable I looked at Beotech, is the “Aux Link cable” correct?Good evening everyone,
I’m trying to masterlink a beocenter 9300 with beosystem 3, using a 1611 converter.
I connect the Bc9300 with a powerlink cable and an aux to the 1611 and then the 1611 to the bc3 via masterlink. I set v-option 2 to bs3 and a-option 0 to beocenter. I press CD, the disc spins, everything works but there is no sound.
Am I doing something wrong?Hi Guy thank you for your informations,
I use the box with a MacBook Pro 2017 and it works, but I can’t remote control it using a Beolink 1000.
I’m trying to use the same configuration you used with the vx sensor, and I wonder how you wired the sensor with the 3,5 jack.
thanks in advance
Michele
I am a new member, even though I have been following Beoworld for many years (since around 2015), the forum has made me love and understand the brand.
I thank you for everything you have done and I understand your reasons.
However, I hope that all this treasure is not lost, because I also think that the success of Vintage B&O is linked to the Beoworld Forum.
Thank you!Michele
Thank you for your replay.
I will wait for the old forum, now the beotime seems to work, maybe the battery pack rotate in the body and loose the connection. I am trying to manage it very softly.
thank you again.
Michele
