I also only have good experience from B&O warranty. When I received my Beoplay EQs, one of the earbud batteries was not working. I sent them in to repair a Monday and got a new set later that week.
Would look really nice if its true! Bet it will be priced a bit above the “smoked oak”.
Its a Samsung panel and as far as I have heard there is no panels available as spares.
I guess these panels where bespoke when it comes to the fittings and built on spec by B&O.
Removing the panel is not that complicated though…
@anneblack response must be wrong. There is no “advanced wireless connectivity option with the inclusion of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities” in Beolab 3.

I believe Anneblack is some sort of robot.
It therefore has been removed.Impressive!
Well I’ve just ordered it on Black Anthracite! I’ll let you know my thoughts once I get it. Thanks for all your comments guys, this has comforted me to go for it.
The Anthracite looks super. My son has it and it looks (and sounds) great. Enjoy!

Could be “dead on arrival”…. I would return it to B&O if that was where you purchased.
Have you tried the power plug in some way to make sure that is okay?Think you can find a lot of opinions about Moment in the forum.
I think its important for you to think about what is your main use case.I owned one a number of years and liked it a lot.
However, today it is an unsupported product so some initial features does not work like the “mood wheel”, since that rely on integration to Gracenote metadata that does not exist any more.
Also, I have seen some people having the tablet screen failing. So, let us know why you are thinking of being one to make it easier to provide advise.
I also enjoy my Emerge that I bought immediately upon launch and is indeed tempted to buy one more to stereo pair, since I think they come really to their best in such a configuration.
This could be “system sound”. Could it be that it connects/reconnects to WiFi of some reason? I think you can disable the “system sound” in the app menu for Stage somewhere.
There is a UK guy on EBay that provide repair service for Beocom 2. I have not used him yet but had an email dialogue regarding one of my faulty Beocom 2:s. Search for “Beolakes”.
Nice update by B&O.
Stereopairing two A9:s would be interesting.I did some reading on the topic of Home Assistant and HACS.
Home Assistant is a software that could run on e.g. a Raspberry Pi 3 or 4.
HACS is a manager for downloading and maintaining custom elements for Home Assistant.
B&O have published Home Assistant integration for Bang & Olufsen products: Beolab 28, Beosound Balance, Beosound Emerge, Beosound Level and Beosound Theatre (Audio only for now) Link
According to OP its quite straight forward to setup once you have HA and HACS installed.
From what I have found out it should be possible to have Beoremote One commands to trigger events in your home automation. I would love to control my Ikea Trådfri, using a Beoremote One BT.
I think a new topic would be the way to go. Does this mean I can trigger any action through the function keys in HA? I still have some stuff which I would love integrate in the BLI but am limited. I can create a scene pressing a function button on the BR1 and can create anything?
As far as I understand, HA “listen to” key press from the BR1, and you can connect certain actions to such key press, like “LIST” “LIGHT” “1”, and that sequence e.g toggle lights in living room.
I got a bit intrigued by this. I only have Emerge from the Mozart platform, but I have Google Home setup. @Lundmark: You refer to “Home Assistant” and “HACS”. Is that applications that is supposed to run on a server in the network?
Well… off to find that tiny tool so I can take the remote apart into 5 pieces to change a battery…
I love my BeoremoteOne ? A paperclip will do for opening the remote ?
For all the discouragement you’ll get from B&O’s support for wanting to tinker yourself with installation however, the complete opposite is true for other parts of the Theatre experience: there’s an official Home Assistant integration to get it and the BeoRemote into your smart home, and it’s great. It’s a tinkerers ultimate dream and setting my BeoRemote One up to control my Hue lights and IKEA blinds was a breeze. I’ve even mapped a button to pause my dishwasher when it gets noisy during a movie. Controlling lights with the remote is something I’ve wanted to do for decades ever since I saw a Beo4 control lighting in the 90s, but it previously required bespoke hardware and professional installation, none of which appealed to me. Now it just works with market leading open-source software out of the box and B&O itself is behind the development. This was totally unexpected and I respect them so much for doing this. Truly great to see.Would like to understand more how home integration is a part of Theatre. Sound great. Could you share some more details on how that is achieved?
Someone asked in another/a subthread this: “Would like to understand more how home integration is a part of Theatre. Sound great. Could you share some more details on how that is achieved?”. Any Theatre user who has experience with this or any comments there? Would be interesting to have these in this main Theatre thread. MM
Good thinking. Thanks for lifting the question here.
