it’s pretty low, about 40cm floor to top of BST.
The TV is on a mount that can take it about 80cm out from the wall. I like to do that when sim racing, gaming, or for that home cinema feel to make the screen appear bigger. So in order to still have line of sight to the BST’s drivers, I’ve mounted it with some extra clearance to the TV.
This is with a 77”.
For those wondering, it’s a pretty simple operation to take the half circles off – but you need to lie the Theatre face down to work on its backside If you decide to put them back on make sure to tighten screws well. I didn’t tighten enough when first assembling and experienced rattling during the Sound/microphone test when the bass impulses
Sorry if this has been covered already, but googling didnt help. How do I verify that the Theatre is in Atmos-mode? The Apple TV says it’s outputting Atmos. I look under “Signal Info” in the app, but it seems to say Input=PCM 2.0 nomatter what’s playing
i’m contemplating what rear speakers to wall mount, to go with a setup of Theatre+Front/Left Beolab9’s.
I’m between Beosound Shape, Beolab 12, or Beolab 17 – any clear recommendation or rule-out?
do I understand correctly that you can use the Theatre without any wings? does it look weird with gaps?
