I recently bought a SP10 like on the top of your picture with a broken needle, just to have a spare cartridge for €25.

I’m keeping the needle/element for future retipping

My mistake.

I was wondering if I would buy a later SP based Beogram, I could use my newly retipped element on another Beogram like the 3000 or 1800 just for example.

Because the retipping was more expensive as the Beogram 1000 is ever worth…

Another question; are the SP 6/7-8/9-10-12-14 interchangable between various SP based Belograms?

I have a SP6/7 retipped by FJS recently with a Nude contact line elliptical stylus, and I was wondering if this can be used on any other later SP based Beograms?

The problem I think with Mozart speakers to be used as rear/surround speakers is that you will run into problems when you don’t have a super stable and capable (wifi) network.
There’s too many people that have mediocre networks, or, these networks become mediocre when you add wifi surround speakers.
So developing something stable will take a while

B&O has to add powerlink to overcome this.
But people want generally everything wireless. Except me 😉

3. Go to the Theatre’s settings, 3 dots in top right corner. —> product settings —> beoremote —> beoremote one.
Now you drag items. Above the line is visible, and below the line is not visible.

Tick and hold the 3 lines/hamburger and drag it.

You can have 10 items above the line, they are visible in the remote.

You can change the order too.

I’m browsing through this topic, so I’m a few weeks late…

If I’m correct the G2 has a satellite coax connector, so you can connect the sat cable directly to the tv.

You’ll need a CI module then, wich you stick, along with the smartcard in it, into the tv. (Wich is located on top behind the screen).

It might save you some trouble if you don’t need the set top box anymore.

I’m using a Ci module as well from my cable provider, as I didn’t want an extra stb device.

A little update;

It’s not my M5 that plays Beoradio, but my M3.

The M5 only plays Tunein for now, not that it really matters to me.

No, Tunein favs and Beoradio favs are still different.

I only have 6 and 4 favorites

When I had that black ethernet cable in my hands I knew I was not going to use it, what a crap…

For me the Beosound 5 encore is the worst value for money, it was already abandoned when it hit the market.
Mine still has the factory firmware from 2011, never had an update.

So when I use it is on my guest network so that it doesn’t compromise my regular network

It only plays Beoradio and the music from my Synology NAS, no Deezer, Spotify or Tidal.

And I can connect a Chromecast Audio dongle to it and tuck it away behind it.

But I really like the looks and operation thru the wheels and lever, I never used a remote control with it.

It is beautifully made, but the software is so bad.
