From my experience, the Beta is just 1 week released before the general release… so much for beta testing. can’t imagine that they can adjust for all of the flaws in the Beta within that week.. For everyone not updates turn off automatic updates!!
Never had so much Theatre crashed until now, considering to leave the Beta TBH
Non essential inputs is just my personal translation and kind of stuck in my brain while posting. however i got it from mr.Andersons 2nd bullet point:
“The source list was groomed too much, we just released a fix an hour ago for this. Some will not come back, for example Deezer. It only worked if Deezer had just been playing. In general, sources with a non-deterministic outcome will be removed.”
But as I said in my other post, I can’t imagine why the groomed it this exact way. I use the TV input a lot, since the soundbar itself is keen on saying “f it, you changed HDMI input on your TV so now I don’t know what to do” resulting in me having to change the speaker output to TV speaker, and than to the Beosound Theatre. (it is connected through HDMI E-ARC, on Samsung though)
Anyone else notice the warped play pause button? (reverted back to normal now?)
I was the one that mentioned it in the podcast, it might had to do with my “old” AC wifi network, since i upgraded to WiFi 6 with the ASUS XT8 I had no mesh issues with the Theatre and A5. No node hopping or issues yet. MR works perfect.

Just tested the latest version and it looks okay
Yes mine was okey for some time, but it did happen again, I will try to recreate it in a way that it can be reproduced.
Got it right now again, so that’s at least the 3th time in 2 days.
Hi,
I still miss the Tv input as an option. Since this is essential e.g. for parties when you want to listen to music and show some vids on the tv, without having to reselect the soundbar in the tv menu.
I know that non essential inputs were removed, but maybe put the Tv option as a source in when the Earc port is occupied. That way no one that has the theatre as sound system has a useless source. the same with the other HDMI ports, why should I care to click HDMI 1, 2 or 3 when all are empty? Beosound Theatre surely knows which inputs are used.
And don’t show it when the tv is playing as a source that will help in keeping it clean.
Really like the rest as an first impression, finally the queue works!!! After 3 years. (Was about to send it in as an issue, but if it keeps working it’s not necessary! Thank you!)
Although the circle was nice, I prefer the volume slider and really like the addition of the visual exact feedback from the volume. see picture, volume 57
