Can you tell if the laser tries to seek focus? – Does it move up and down a few mms when you press play without a disc loaded?
Is the laser emitting light? – The face-facing camera on f.e. an iPhone can usually see the light.Martin

C2103 on the servo board is critical.
Fitting a low-ESR cap here is the recipe for trouble. It must be a blue Philips/BC axial type.
A kit exists for this particular problem.Martin
The mech. things (power switch slider etc.) in the switch group could need cleaning and the contacts perhaps a shot of contact cleaner.

Can you tell/see, if the laser lens moves in and out to search for focus, when you press

The belt is slipping, allowing the motor to accellerate and lock to twice the set speed.
Replace the belt.

They are identical to a version of Beovox C40.
Exported to Netherlands only, as far as I know, to be a model number match to Beomaster 2300 (which was UK and Netherlands only).Martin

A common problem is a bad belt.

It will be fine with two pairs of S45.
If you go for Beovox S30, make sure they are type 6301 (the smaller ones).
And get that Beogram repaired. It’s a great deck, and much better looking than anything Technics.Martin
The Stereo indicator should not light up when tuning between stations.
You could have a bad decoder IC.Martin
Bad vol.preset switch. (Contact cleaner + use).
Bad connection to the switch (shorted leads if the old connector type).Martin

Could be a bad IC (they rarely fail), but you must measure what is being read in at power up to be sure.

The center spindle for the cam wheel can be lubricated, but all the small “rattling” arms and levers on the cam wheel should run clean and dry.
They must NOT be lubricated, or things won’t work.Martin
It’s mask programmed by/for B&O.
But these rarely fail.
