I always fix the broken pin with a small cable tie.
Looking at the servicemanual it seems like replacing this part is a matter of unscrewing the back panel of the tv, disconnect three cables, unscrew 6 screws and replace the PCB with another and put it all back together.
Yes this is how it is done. Relatively simple.
The module is no longer available. You need a used one or a Bang&Olufsen dealer can send the defective module to the factory in Struer where it can be repaired.
Option4 is exactly for the situation that two devices in the same room react to the Beo4.
The device in Option 4 reacts only if LINK is preselected on the Beo4 first.
It depends on the version or software if BS9000 support Option 4/5/6If sound, operation and backlight of the panel are OK, then a BV10-32 has almost always a defective Pcb. 15 MEMC (Part 8005458) and not a defective Panel. This module is responsible for the image feed to the panel.
Why do you want to switch it to option 0? That it doesn’t respond to Beo4? Then you can use option 4
I had the same problems especially with Apple TV.
A CEC blocker solved the problem. - AuthorPosts
