My dream became reality !!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 !!!
Unbelievable, with the software update 2.1.50867 my two Beosound 35 are now displaying the title and artist when streaming via Airplay at the Beosound 35 display as well as at the B&O app. So far it only displayed “AirPlay”.
It took Bang&Olufsen more than 6 years to realize this feature!
I use Roon Labs and stream via Airplay from my Roon Core to my loudspeakers. I really enjoy that my Beosound 35 are displaying the current song, now. A really nice feature.
I started to think about purchasing some more Beosound 35’s (even it is discontinued) to replace some non-B&O speakers.
True, if you playing something on the LG, f.e. the Music app of LG and link to other B&0 devices.
Yes, but for me (and others) THIS is a very interesting Use-Case and I do not understand why B&O is not supporting it better 🙁
I often listen to the news or any other spoken TV program (e.g. talk shows), you do not need to watch the display all the time because not much is happening. Parallel I like to walk around the house doing something and only listen to it. So it would be really great having no echo at all.
In the old days with Masterlink my use-case worked perfectly like a dream with Beovision 9 and some Beolab 35 around the house.
I own a Beovision Harmony and several Beosounds (1, 35, Core, M3).
Regarding the Bang & Olufsen support (I asked for support), audio streaming of the TV program from the Beovision Harmony to Beosounds does not work!
In reality, it works but unfortunately with a time lag = echo.
The echo is strong when you use the standard settings in settings -> beolink -> sound synchronization 1000 (wi-fi msec). It is much better when you go down to 100 msec. Unfortunately with decreasing msec the stability when steaming music getting worth. 100 is for me a good compromise working OK in my network.

I thought it has something to do with the reset button / mode button on the back of the Essence Remote. But with this button, you can only change the modes. You can not start the pairing of the device.
It is much easier, just press the front top / white circle for 10 seconds and paring mode starts.

I would like to connect it with my Beosound 35 via bluetooth. How does this work?
Within the configuration menu of the Beosound 35 I selected remote -> connection -> start.
On the Essence Remote I select Mode 1 = Bluetooth paired. But nothing connects. How can I select the Bluetooth not paired mode = green flashing?
