Dark Side of the Moon – lossless Atmos Mix on Blu-ray! (just arrived last night…)

One thing that’s immediately impressive is that the disc includes a nearly-complete lesson on setting up an Atmos playback system. It might be worth the price just as a calibration tool!

Normally I listen to lots of chillout music when working/doing CAD work but lately when I’m designing audio hardware for fun and not so much work-related, I often listen to some of my most favorite tunes to keep me hyped up and motivated to keep going. Usually my excitement to build crazy / new audio hardware comes from music that I want to be better immersed in or connected to. Here’s some of the stuff driving me these days:

My favorite radio station, which I got to know when we spent a winter in Venice in 2016-2017.

It beggars belief that in 2024 the B&O app is unable to properly render the French alphabet: instead of displaying the composer’s name «Théodore Dubois», B&O shows it as «ThA©odore Dubois».

Anyway, the music is good!
