      Ok great stuff thanks.

With regards to the max VTVM reading? How does one take that?

      Cheers

        Not sure what you mean?
VTVM usually refers to a Vacuum Tube Volt Meter (F.e. Bang & Olufsen RV9/RV11 etc.,
but today most digital meters have a suitable high impedance so will work fine for most readings of this type.

          Hi there,

I have finally gotten round to exchanging my Trimpots from the wonderful kit from Dillen.

I was wondering if anyone has some advice on setting the new ones up. As I have a few questions.

          1. I have read its best to measure trimpots out of circuit. How do you then get an accurate reading once installed? In the manual it looks like one should take readings from the corresponding resistors once installed?
          2. In the schematics, for the 22k trimpot (No 100) it says adjust it for max VTVM reading. Am I correct in thinking that I cant do this with a normal multimeter? If not how can I go about settign this trimpot correctly.

          Thanks in advance guys

          Matt

Dont’ use readouts of old and bad components for reference!

Set the new trimmer in its center position, fit it and refer to the servicemanual for
the corresponding measuring points and correct settings.
