I am considering replacing my Beolab 3’s which are used as rear speakers in my Theatre Setup with Beolab 12-2 or 12-3 in order to add some more bass to the back of the room.
Does anyone have an opinion on the 12’s overall? Is there a big bass difference between the 12-2 to 12-3 which has an extra woofer.
I was going to repurpose the BL3’s as rear high speakers.

Main difference is that 12.2 will cut off bass earlier than 12.3 when you increase volume.
At lower volumes 12.2 and 12.3 will be pretty much the same but at higher volume 12.3 will deliver more bass.
So, at the end of the day it depends on your listening preferences.
I personally find the proportions of the 12.2 pretty’er… But that is off course a different topic….
