I’m enrolled in Beta program and this FINALLY came up today.
24 February 2023 at 09:19 #38184With today’s update, my custom lists for LIGHT and CONTROL on the Beoremote One now appear. However, selecting macros from that list has no effect on the BLI. Has anyone gotten the LIGHT and CONTROL commands to forward to the BLI?
24 February 2023 at 09:22 #38185Also, I see that there is still no way to edit the existing Receiver 1 wireless speakers to indicate which model of Beolab is attached so that Room Sense can perform correctly. However, I haven’t tried this with adding a new Receiver 1.
25 February 2023 at 09:13 #38187I recently upgraded from Bsys3 to LG77 G2 and Beosound Theatre.
Currently,my Beogram 6500 is plugged into Ouverture Aux.From Ouverture’s powerlink output=>3,5 mm cable,into 3,5 mm =>usb-c adapter ,into Theatre.It works fine.
Just wonder if there is any Masterlink=>usb-c adapter/cable available?25 February 2023 at 12:01 #38186Saw it only after restoring/ opting out of beta, re-install old non beta and the reactivating beta channel.
Makes me lose my listening positions each time and have to recalibrate everything again, annoying…
The BL 28 got updated to 2.5.3 on it’s own with no interference.
27 February 2023 at 05:04 #38188Configuring would be very nice and expected in case of the Beolab R1 connected with Beolab 9 or others attached to it.
Also when speakers are not selected within a certain speaker selection config (let’s say a 2 channel stereo signal) please turn the unused automatically OFF. (or give it as a choice)
Or did I miss something?
27 February 2023 at 05:39 #381895 March 2023 at 05:19 #38191The latest official release didn’t have any of these problems.
Unfortunately I can not say the same.
Mine behaves similar with the regular SW.
These issues are probably the reason why they haven’t released an official update yet (just the beta).
It is quite annoying – however, when it works (which really is most of the time) the setup is amazing….never thought my speaker setup could sound that good ?The worst thing is, that my wife tells me that she would not know what to do, when that happens and she is alone with the problem.
She keeps telling me that she liked our old Avant 1st gen more ?P.S.
Of course I have reported it, too.MM
5 March 2023 at 08:33 #38192my Living Room theatre this week is constantly switching off (Theatre, screen, shuts down 50s/17s)……hs done it twice in the last 30 minutes!
And I’m on 2.3.4…i.e not the new 2.5.3, so this is happening on old software too.
My bedroom Theatre (standalone), no attached speakers, seems not to have this constant rebooting issue (I think)
5 March 2023 at 09:32 #38193I’ve been experiencing the issue with my Theatre rebooting since the software update. I’m glad to see this isn’t just me. WTF, B&O?! We paid far too much for this product to be experiencing this.
5 March 2023 at 09:35 #38194I was really hoping B&O would find a solution for indicating speaker models connected to Receiver 1 units, but they still have not. This latest update has just made the Theatre use worse. I’m thinking I should get out of the beta program.
5 March 2023 at 09:44 #38195someone on Discord is having (all of a sudden) the same rebooting issue with their Harmony.
Go figure.
5 March 2023 at 09:55 #38196I am having the rebooting issue and I am not on the beta software.
Others on the 2.3.4 are also reporting the same.
5 March 2023 at 11:03 #38197I’m on 2.3.4 with a pair of 3s connected via PL. I haven’t had any dropped speakers or rebooting issues so far. Weird. Hope those who do get it sorted soon.
5 March 2023 at 11:19 #38198I’m on 5.2.3 beta, LG G2 on 3.30.16 with no issues.
I suspect, it’s either an LG issue, periphery (Set top) or Mozart periphery?
I’ve disabled my LG update (seems to do this every couple of weeks) until the issue is properly identified.
5 March 2023 at 12:20 #38190I’m on the beta firmware a few days atm. So far i’m not really liking it. The beta firmware makes my tv loose the CEC connection once in a while and overall a lot more HDMI handshake problems…
Also but this only happened once. The soundbar deactivated all my speakers which are connected through powerlink and only used the center channel of the theatre. A reboot of the soundbar solved it. Again it happened during HDMI sync issues. I’ve reported these problems both through the app. The latest official release didn’t have any of these problems.
The good is the sound level issue if you use the soundbar as a complete center speaker has been solved and the speaker roles can be adjusted to none if you want to play around with presets.
6 March 2023 at 08:18 #38199Best of luck disabling the auto updates
When i do so, it pesters me everytime i switch it on to update it.
From the start I have problems with beoremote one not changing TV programs, and on two occasions everything dissapeared from the BR1- so batteries out, and after a while it reapears again.
I have to say whilst i love the concept, I liked the simplicity of times gone by, not wondering if the next update will wreck ythe functionality
6 March 2023 at 08:48 #38200Looks like I got there just in time. LG tried to update today 3.xx.45 I think. And yes, even though you flick off auto update, it does pester on startup.
Im hoping it will be enough to resist LG until either B&O can identify a patch solution or LG re-issue a further stable update?
6 March 2023 at 08:59 #38201im on the BST beta And the latest firmware from LG For a week and no problems at all.
