The 3D models for the project are available to download in the first post. It’s written in bold and can easily be seen (I’ve stopped counting the numerous PM I receive asking for the STL’s).
So, just download them and have them printed by a friend or a printing service.
Just DON’T BUY THEM. Someone as open a B&O shop just near where I leave and is selling the clamps I designed and that are available here for free without any added value.
Good luck for your project.

Waarvoor mijn oprechte dank,vriendelijke groeten,BenO

16 November 2023 at 08:53 #36886Hello Matador and everyone
@ Matador: thank you so much for your increible work and most of all, sharing it with us and giving us all the information and guide for installation !!!!! 🙂
I am living also in france and contacted a 3D printer and sent them the 2 stl fils for the clamps. Surprisingly, for one the “top” stl file, the company asks me to check the size as it appears very very smal and the company sent me this message: “Could you confirm me that the size is 13,21 x 3,51 x 2 mm ? ”
I do believe it should be the same figures for cm, so we should print 13,21 x 3,51 x 2 cm.
- Could you please confirm?
(don’t know why they get this size).
- Also, could you confirm the material you choose for the clamps. The 3D company offers different produts: PLA (materiau biodegradable) : Polyester (PET) : ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) ; or ASA (ACrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate).
Not knowing, I chose ASA product as it seems to be used for toys, electric setups, car parts..
Could anyone help me and confirm the choice.Again, thanks a lot for Matador and everyone. This will make our beolab so nicer !

17 November 2023 at 09:58 #36887Thanks all for the kind words.
About the sizing: long time since I did this but the right size is somewhere around this thread. It’s usual to have to scale the STL mesh from 10x to 100x.
Please read all the thread!
About plastic: I don’t know enough. I think mine were printed in PLA because I’ve heard this term somewhere but I’m not sure, so I can’t really help there.

28 December 2023 at 08:45 #36892Hi Matador,
Bravo, joli travail !
What would a wooden BL 3500 look like. Handsome or ugly ???
30 December 2023 at 10:21 #36893I did mine, got the wood the way I wanted but the clamps I got 3D printed locally and I wasn’t aware 3D printer can vary printing quality so much. Mine did not clipped well and most didn’t clip on the clamp at all, I had to glue the slats. I was checking etsy and saw this guys that sells the clamps. so if anyone is not finding a way to get them on the link I shared.

3 January 2024 at 07:45 #36894Dear Matador
Starting the new 2024, I just joined this forum and found your nice piece of work to provide the 8000s with such a fine wood fret cover. I was looking for a solution to upgrade my 8000s and I can not be more grateful to your work and your nice offering to the forum members.
I just downloaded the files, will start immediately looking for a printer shop in Spain and shall arrange to buy the frets.
Again, Matador, thank you for your great contribution to the community.
All the best and happy new year!
Alfredo.

15 February 2024 at 06:44 #3690119 February 2024 at 01:44 #36903Hello BramBoerema
there is no difference in the housing between BL 6000 and BL 6002. BL 6002 uses modified Bass-Mid-Drivers. There are many people around here who really do appreciate when you design the clamps and share the STL File/s with us – me too 🙂
thanks in advance
