Hi all. I am new to this forum and I am currently working with a CDX for a friend.
The cd could not be read by the player but by following advice from this forum I re-soldered the vias and now it reads ok. However, the output is very low and the sound is a bit weak and bright. I did not replaced any capacitors but before doing that I just thought I place a question here to see if there is anybody with this experience and what you did to fix this problem.
Thank! great forum by the way.

Since you didn’t post any basic cd player troubleshooting information,
there is little anyone can do to help other than suggest you do
standard cd player troubleshooting. Mynordstrom19 December 2022 at 12:25 #41147Hi.
Thanks for the input. I changed all capacitors and now it is working just fine.
