So I just got a hold of a pair of Beovox 120.2 and I need to change the foam around the speakers.
but would I need the change the capacitors on the board ?
im no expert on that, but to me they look fine, if if so where can I get those
Best Regards.

They will be out of spec by now, that’s almost guaranteed after all these years.
Capacitor kit here.Martin

Thank you for the reply, I will look into that kit.
I ran in to another problem that you maybe can help be with.
If I play anything on the speakers, the orignial bass woofer is not playing, but if I take a bass woofer unit from another speaker it will play.
i also tried the other speaker, that haven’t been restored yet, and there is no sound either coming from the bass woofer.
17 November 2023 at 02:29 #50191The very thin leads from the cone to the voicecoil tend to break under the lip of the center dustcap. It’s quite common for Beovox S120 and Beovox MC120.2.
Most can be repaired if you work carefully.Martin
