Currently using a BeoVision Horizon which acts as Master connecting to 5.1 system consisting of BL18, BL17 and BL11 using WiSA. BeoVision Contour interests me with its Stage technology but I still want to use my WiSA speakers. Any thoughts appreciated – is Stage that good that I don’t need my surround speakers? I doubt it, therefore how do I incorporate my lovely external speakers?
1 August 2023 at 06:13 #47989Hi,
According to B&O website, Contour is a stand-alone TV.
The Connectivity list does not mention Speaker outputs, nor Wisa.
IMHO this TV does not meet you wish.
Kind regards.
1 August 2023 at 06:41 #47990Hello,
YannChris is correct, the Stage would not allow to connect your existing speakers.
The Beosound Theatre + LG OLED tv is the way to go.
Another option might be a Beovision Eclipse, now discontinued.
Maybe you can get a good deal from an Eclipse still in inventory at your dealer.Regards.

1 August 2023 at 11:27 #47991Hello! The BeoVision Contour TV is combined with the LG C3, model 2023 and supports the latest technology of wireless transmission of multi-channel audio WiSA. With its help, you can broadcast sound from the TV to compatible WiSA speakers (at the moment Klipsch, Bang & Olufsen, Axiim, Enclave Audio already have it). At the same time, we are talking not only about standard 5.1 sound, but also about modern formats, including Dolby Atmos. The Summit technology used in WiSA supports multi-channel audio without compression (up to 8 channels). According to WiSA, the sound transmission quality is 20 times higher than the capabilities of Bluetooh and Wi-Fi technologies.

It is either/or – you can not send the sound from the LG using the Soundsend device to external speakers and use the Stage as the speaker unit at the same time – they both use the (e)ARC connection.
LG certified WiSA does not mean anything but certifying that the CEC control works flawless when connecting the Soundsend device to the newer LG tv’s.
