      Hi

I know that it’s not possible to have the Stage Soundbar as Center speaker in a normal 5.1 setup.

But do somebody know ifs possible with using the Almando surround Decoder in a LG C3 5.1 setup?

      thanks

        Hi,

I am sorry but the Stage cannot be used with any other speakers, this is due to a sound delay in the Stage that cannot be removed. This would cause the Stage to echo after the other speakers have sounded.

Stage is a stand alone speaker only, there is no option to use it with any other speakers.

        Kind regards Steve.

That is not possible – unless you’d use the line-in connection of the Stage.

But it would make no sense – too fiddly and totally run contrary to the purpose of the Stage.
Why not just choose a Beolab center speaker such as the 7-4 or one of the 7-x line?
That would give you a powerfull center speaker with the Almando.

If you are after the smart audio functions of the Stage, connecting a Core to the Almando would be the better choice.

Ok. Will it then be possible to connect an soundbar of another brand (LG?) to a Almando decoder. I find the Beolab 7 very big? I’m not sure because the Almando har RJ45 sound output and the most non B&O has not that possibility ?

RJ45 is just a connector type – important is that it is a PowerLink connection.
There are lots of adapters/cables for RJ45 <-> DIN.
So that should not be a problem.

You can also use a single Beolab speaker – for example a BL4000.
