Hi! Who still uses a Beosound Moment every day? I would appreciate your how-to!

I claim that I am an experienced B&O fan and am currently looking for a “meaningful” use. I own several Beomaster-TV + Beolink Converter, a core and various Beoplay devices…

I’m sadly using it only as a Line-In entry point for my BG 4002 and a Raspberry PI + Plexamp. Music is then distributed via BeoLink to my other B&O products.

I have two, and I use at least one every day.

I’m not sure what “how-to” you need. I use mine to play netradio about 1/2 the time, and specific music 1/4 of the time. The other 1/4 of the time I use the moodwheel, though usually in the same are of the wheel (upper left) because it turns out that I mostly want happy, calm music.

I love having a physical interface instead of having to dig my phone out and open an app to start music, change volume, or select different content.

I have been using Twonky on a Raspberyy Pi for DLNA, but to be honest I only access it a few time a year. I almost exclusively stream music with Deezer HiFi.

The middle and outer ring of the mood wheel should still work from your Deezer music account. The center ring has not worked for a log time (maybe 2 years?) and is not expected to be fixed, as B&O has abandoned this product. I haven’t found that I miss the middle ring, but I do think it is absolutely shameful that B&O discontinued support for this product so soon.

Many thanks for your detailed answer! That’s very interesting that the mood wheel no longer works with dlna. I haven’t just been reading the forum since yesterday 😉 I’ll try deezer in the coming week…

Nope – no need in this case, and I don’t even have speakers connected to it (i just moved house and didn’t connect it back to speakers). Eventually I’ll connect it back to my wireless speakers shared with my BS Core through a Transmitter 1, in this case I may use the tablet to drive the volume when a Line-In source is playing, but the MoodWheel is sadly no longer useful for me.
