Hello, I have a mk2 BS9000 which I have not had from new.
It is in very nice cosmetic condition but I have noticed on the dark grey lamella cover and lid that there are few small darker stains. I’ve tried to remove them with window cleaner but they don’t come off. There is nothing to feel either. Looks like a drop of something has left a stain that I can’t clean off but must have discoloured the aluminium.

I assume it is anodised aluminium. Does anyone have good experience with this and what is the best way to clean them?

Should I remove them and soak them in vinegar?
Or will they need to be completely redone?

PS: did B&O change the colour of these covers throughout the years? They appear very black on some pictures I have seen whereas mine are more dark grey.
