Hi
Shiny brand new to the forum 🙂
After floods took out our hifi we are in the midst of replacing when possible and have decided to purchase a Beosound 3000 CD player because to us it’s the sexiest ever made! However it’s not so easy to find much of the skinny on it. Even the main site doesn’t include any info on the type of DAC B&O employed back then and we also cannot find any owner experiences regards combing one with an external DAC or compatibility with non B&O hifi (besides DIN plugs). The closest we found was a repair video on YouTube by a German speaking tech that we could make neither heads nor tails from except that they are quite a difficult but not impossible repair project.
Can any of you fine folk offer assistance?
G’day and Thanks
Eddy

16 April 2024 at 06:30 #54301Hi and thanks KofiMAKER
The type of DAC used
If they play well with non B@O amplifiers.
How they have stood the test of time
and we were hoping to see some preference for the different models in th evolution of the player.
