      Hi,

      I recently got Beoremote One.

I got it mainly for my music speakers and then for Apple TV. It is such a beautiful design and great functionalities.

I have few questions and hope someone here could help.

Is it possible to control multiroom volume? Like when I play from Beosound Level and join Beosound 1 / Beoplay M3s I would like to control group volume instead of separate speakers. Similar way that you can control group volume in B&O app.

Another question is that is it possible to see what B&O radio station is currently playing on Beosound Level? I can see the radio station list but would be nice to see what is currently playing.

Neither of these are major issues but the group volume control would be great funtionality.

      Thanks.

You can see the current playing radio station in the B&O app – not on the BROne.

With the BROne you have control using bluetooth – and this works only with the device the remote is paired to.
If you want to control another you have to switch to that (assumed the remote is set up for more devices).

Controlling through the app works over the local network and there you have control of several devices on the same page/through one interface.
However, they are still individually controlled – there is no ‘universal’ volume control of all devices.

        P.S.
Volume controlling groupwise is only available, if you use Chromecast for streaming and have made the wanted group of devices in the Google app.
This does not work in the B&O app.

Thanks for reply. You are right, you can’t control group volume in the B&O app either. It just shows volume controls in one screen which makes it easier to control several devices at the same time.

Very happy with Beoremote One anyway.

I have to add that in fact you can control group volume in B&O app, at least when you are listening B&O radio. You have the round volume controller on the “now playing” screen which controls group volume.

I am using the B&O app, and playing on a A6, a Core and BL 28. From the multiroom screen I can control volume for all 3 at the same time with the volume up/down buttons on my iphone. Works both with B&O Radio and Deezer as source.

Okay, must depend on the setup then as it doesn’t work for me. Only the round circle on the now playing screen controls group volume for me.

I’m happy to end this conversation as I got the answer I asked about Beoremote One.

                Thanks for everyone’s input.

It’s a complex workaround but you can do group volume control with the BeoRemote 1 via HomeAssistant or BLI.

You can actually control group volume in the app.
In the multiroom screen you can use the volume up/down buttons on the iPhone to control the volume on all active products at the same time

I think up/down buttons on the iPhone only work when you use AirPlay.
