Hi, I have a Beomaster/Beosound 5 system and i’ve tried to Connect it to my pc. I installed beoconnect and the first time it went and Connected and I could see the share hdd. Then after 5-10 minutes it does no longer let me transfer the songs to the beomaster 5, and at that point I saw that there was a red (X) on the HDD icon and it gave me an error saying “unable to connect to…”. then I restarted the beomaster and I realized that the IP address was no longer the same as before but had changed, now completely different from that of my PC (previously only the final digit changed). I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the LAN cable (cat 6 and connected directly to the router in the classic output, not WLAN) but nothing worked.
23 May 2024 at 12:28 #55913hi, you’ll have to put a static IP adress for the Beomaster. To do this, you’ll have to go to the service menu and in the Windows parameters.
If you need more help, I’ll can do it again on mine, adn tell you the step. I’ll did it more than 10 years ago !
