Defect head speaker plug.
12 September 2023 at 08:46 #48912My Beomaster 7000 has started acting up.
Recently, there have been issues where it will turn on but there will be no sound from any of the inputs. (yes the plug is in the back, so that is not the issue)
Sometimes, it will turn on when pressing Radio and the radio will be very faint until you press volume up and the sound kicks in.
Additionally, I have had it connected to one of those energy saving 5 plug strips, and in the past it would open up for standby to the other devices when I turned on the BM7000. Now that also does not work, so my assumption is that it does not draw the power that it used to. Any ideas what is going on?
It was recapped a while back so that should also not be a cause for concern.

Try speaker sockets 2. They bypass the relay. If sound is good there, replace the relay.Martin

I did try the headphone socket, and there is no sound either.
