I have Beogram 6002. It’s great turntable but it has issue with the arms.
Basically the pick-up / tonearm gets stuck to detector arm while playing. It is like the detector arm doesn’t move fast enough. This happens mainly at the middle of the record, after few songs.
I have access to the screws at the top of the arms and can adjust these. Please see pic.
I know that there is screw to adjust horizontal parallelism but this is at the bottom of the unit but that would require to disassemble the whole turntable.
Does anyone know how to fix this easily?
Thanks.
12 April 2022 at 08:26 #34065I’m afraid you are going to need to open it up to access the adjustment. This is explained in the service manual at https://beomanuals.com/manuals/Beogram/Beogram%206002/Beogram_6002-Service_Manual.pdf. You can also check out Rudy’s video on opening it up at https://beolover.blogspot.com/2017/07/beogram-8000-opening-beogram-to-service.html.

It’s described in the service manual available at https://beomanuals.com/manuals/Beogram/Beogram%206002/Beogram_6002-Service_Manual.pdf. You can also view a video on how to open it on Rudy’s site at https://beolover.blogspot.com/2017/07/beogram-8000-opening-beogram-to-service.html.
