      Hi,

Can anyone tell why there is 2 different din connectors for Beogram 5500 ? 5pin connector and 7pin connector. Below is the 7pin connector that has 2 bottom (thicker) pins as extra.

      Regards,

      Ismodin

The extra pins in the 7-pin one carry the Datalink signal to Beomaster receivers for remote control. The pins can be unscrewed to use with a DIN-RCA adaptor.

But if you do remove the two extra pins keep them somewhere safe so that future users of the Beogram can use datalink again! ?
