      Hi everyone 🙂

There is a company in Denmark that does a vertical conversion of the Beogram 4002/4.

Has anyone here had this done or know how to do it?

I am keeping one of the Beograms I refurbish, and it would look awesome to have it vertically mounted without the lid next to my 5’s ?

First I hear of it, mind linking it? Curious to see it.

The Beogram 4002 was on display as part of a broader B&O exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in 1978.

In that exhibit it was on display vertically as well as horizontally. I don’t think it will function vertically. There’s nothing to hold the platter or the LP in place.

          Here’s the picture.

Per auric “I don’t think it will function vertically. There’s nothing to hold the platter or the LP in place.”

Not only the platter, sub-platter and bearing would have nothing to hold them in place…but also the tonearm with cartridge uses gravity to allow the arm to lower. Vertically it would do nothing.
