Hi,
I am restoring a Beocenter 7000 type 1803. Turntable and preset stations working. Still need to fix the manual tuner – string is off pulleys but before I get to that I dug into the tape deck. The belts had gone to mush and I was able to replace with belts from Beoparts. In the process I discovered the arm (2804039) that holds the exposed pulley was broken off (white plastic part – see pic). I was able to find the broken off part of the arm and used loctite to rejoin. The part seems functional now. Unfortunately the spring which draws the arm toward the opposite frame wall was not in the deck or case when I searched for it during disassembly. The spring is describe as 2810104. Does any one have a recommendation for a replacement spring? It appears to be unique to the deck (not able to pull a reference spring from another location). I’ve attached a picture of the arm (white plastic – before the fix) and location of missing spring – drawn in black.
Thanks in advance. Tony
