Good afternoon all, after spending hours sifting through this forum, and the archived ones, I still can not find an answer to my question.
I recently got a BeoCenter 2 system with BeoLab 2 and 3. It belonged to my Dad where it was sitting [unused] for several years (!!).
The master unit itself lights up with a red dot, and the keys all make the clicking sounds, but absolutely nothing else happens (doesn’t open, no menu shows up, etc). I have tried connecting and disconnecting all cables, to no avail.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If a PIN code is needed, wouldn’t it display that…? I assume it’s a 4-digit code, that was given along when it was bought?
I asked my Dad about it and he had no clue it even had a code, or that that was even a feature.
