So I just received a complete BnO Beomaster 5000, Beogram 50005 turntable, CD player, Cassette player, control center, three panel speakers and stands.
This has not been used in 30 years probably, they do seem to have issues.
Questions.. Is this system worth restoration? I know the receiver powers up,then shuts off, a protection system I am guessing. Turntable powers up, but platter does not spin, I hear a click inside when I change speeds, no rotation, belt was still in tact.
My thoughts were restore the receiver then the TT, then speakers (there is a random “pop” in the speakers when I connected them to my Marantz, so they will need to be looked at.
Thoughts?
Opinions?
Recommendations for restorers who won’t bankrupt me?
Thank you in advance.
