Hi
I have recently bought a Beomaster 5000 and hooked it up to my Beovox S45 speakers and Philips 677 turntable. The sound is a little flat and I want to adjust the bass and treble, but it seems as it can only be done from the Master Control Panel 5000. I have tried to push the ‘neutral’ button which helped a bit, but i would like a bit more bass and maybe a little less treble – especially when listening to records. Is there anything to do other than buying the Master Control Panel 5000?
Thank you in advance

15 January 2023 at 06:25 #42870Welcome to the forum JMK. There seems to exist a ‘converter’ according to this older beoworld thread: https://archivedforum.beoworld.org/forums/p/12394/92008.aspx. Not sure if that device would also translate Beo4 or BeoLink 1000 tone adjustment signals. The manual found here does not mention tone adjustment. https://beo.zone/media/files/Bang-Olufsen-Beomaster_5000-Owners-Manual-2.pdf.
I think Matador gives the best advice.Regards, Johan

A far as I know Terminal is only for daily operation like source selection and volume control.

Thanks! It doesn’t seem to support tone adjustment. Maybe I should just buy the MCP5000
