I recently changed the center speaker of my home theatre system to a Bowers and Wilkins HTM 72 S3, which according to the literature has an impedance of 8 ohm.
For my front left and right I use Beolab 18 and for my sub Beolab 19 and for my surround ceiling mounted Beolab 15 – all set up for wireless using Transmitter 1 from a Marantz SR 6015 pre-amp out. The maranta default is 8 ohm.
I have unsuccessfully tried to figure out the impedance of the Bang and Olufsen speakers, and I am wondering they do not exist because they are powered speakers receiving signal from the pre-amp out.
If that is correct then I should only have to worry about the one passive speaker the B&W.
Am I seeing this correctly.?
